- Your most-recent investment statements;
- Any statements on bank investments (such as CD's);
- Your most-recent Social Security statement
- Go to www.socialsecurity.gov/estimator
- Click on Estimate Your Retirement Benefits midway down the page
- Follow the directions of entering your information
- Your Social Security estimate will be available to view (and print)
- A listing of your debts and their values (mortgages, personal loans, credit cards, etc.);
- Your 2010 or 2011 income tax returns;
- Any other important financial information you would like to review;
- Completed Risk Tolerance Assessment (available here for downloadable PDF).
