Mike has worked with Comprehensive Financial Consultants since September 2003, primarily in the insurance field. Mike splits his time between the Bloomington and Bedford offices.
When he entered the insurance industry in 1988, he brought with him his education at Indiana University, the Purdue University Insurance Institute and the Life Underwriters Training Council.
Mike is an integral part of the financial planning for clients of Comprehensive Financial. Whether it be life, individual or disability insurance, Medicare supplements or long-term care coverage, Mike works regularly with the financial consultants to assist in appropriate coverage. His knowledge of income principles and integrating "real-life" application methods helps in thorough, purpose-driven planning. Education is an important focus for Mike when meeting with clients. In addition to teaching continuing-education classes for attorneys, insurance representatives and accountants, Mike teaches insurance courses through the Continuing Studies department at Indiana University. This experience has made a positive impact on relationships with his business and individual clients across the state.
Mike is the past president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is a member of National Association of Health Underwriters.
Despite his hectic schedule, Mike loves to spend time with his wife, Crystal, and their children and grandchildren. And, he always has time to tell any willing listeners a joke or two.
